 I'm having a little trouble finding my blog on my new laptop, so now that I have found it I'm going to try my hand at pictures that I have wanted to share of my youngest daughter and her fishing abilities.  She hates having her picture posted on the internet, but then how can I show off her fishing skills.  Here goes.  These are not necessarily her largest catches, but they are rather impressive if I say so myself. 

I got a new laptop

 I got a new laptop today and I'm finally learning how to use it.  I've almost set up everything all by myself.  There are some things that my grandson Zac is going to have to help me with, but after 5 hours of working with it, it's operable and I can use it.  I just took my time and figured things out.  Unfortunately my iPhone was sitting next to my new laptop and the new laptop paired up with my cellphone instead of with my old laptop.   

My first MacBook Pro was so expensive that I was afraid of pressing wrong buttons and answering questions with a wrong answer, but this time I figured that if I messed anything up we could just wipe the whole thing clean and start over.  I've never really ever knew how to do anything with a Mac and felt much more at ease with Windows.  Windows was very easy to use, but the virus' were always terrible on them so that's why I bought another Mac. 

Zac will have to help me with finding passwords that are stored in my old outdated laptop so that I can setup my email accounts and also I never cleaned my old Mac, so Zac will have to show me how to do that.  That might be what's wrong with my old laptop besides the scratchy screen and fuzzy sounding speakers.  It also wouldn't let me surf the Web any longer.  I also never knew how to install updates, so it never got updated.  I guess the same operating system that it came with is still on there.  I knew how to clean up Windows, but Mac's just seem much more difficult to use.  I never even knew how to make New Folders, so I never could organize my pictures or anything.

This laptop is so different that I even had to Google how to turn it on and then when that didn't work, how to charge up the dead battery.  It doesn't have the same sized holes on the sides and they also all look the same.  I thought I'd just be able to turn it on, install the wifi and password and would at least be able to surf the Web, but NO it wasn't that easy.

At least I feel a little smarter and the three important things I like to do on my laptop are do-able.  Applause please......

I don't normally write anything here, but I have to say something or I might lose my blog and I would hate losing all my pet pictures, so here I am.  I'm shopping for a new laptop so that I will be able to post pictures of my animal friends here once again.  Be patient with me.
