Daisy spent the day watching ants.
I've never seen a cat who loves ants so much.
When they're on the sidewalk
she licks as many as she can,
like an ant eater.

Jybow has become a fierce huntress.
Well....we can't really call her fierce.
It's "catch & release" without all that batting around
that cats usually do.

By noon she had brought us a mouse,
and after it got away,
she found a mole to watch.
And yes, it got safely away too.

And after all that hunting,
it's time for a quick bath
followed by a long nap.
