than to run through the

water hose.

It finally rained

Don't you just love to smell the air right after it rains?

Nope....not me!
I just want to lay here and watch the birds.
That's what I love to do after a rain,
before a rain,
and during a rain.

Leave me alone!!!

Jybow followed by a tomcat

high in the ash tree.
He's relentless and refuses to leave her alone.
They spit and spat
but he won't leave.
She's not interested and she's fixed
but he still won't leave her alone.


He thinks he has her cornered
out on a limb.
There's no way she can escape.
Oh yes there is....
She leaps from the tree
down to the ground.
Her landing sounds like a watermelon
and we rush to her side.
She's okay and not injured
so we take her inside,
and baby her for the rest of the night.
She loves that
and is thinking that maybe
she'll leap from the tree again tomorrow.
